《仿生智能与机器人（英文）》（ISSN 2667-3797, CN 37-1527/TP ）是由教育部主管，山东大学主办的国际学术期刊，金色开放获取，季刊。2019 年入选中国科协“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划”高起点新刊项目。2021年正式创刊，已被ESCI、EI、Scopus、DOAJ、INSPEC、CSCD等国际数据库收录。2025年6月获得首个影响因子5.4（JCR Q1区）。
期刊聚焦人工智能与机器人领域学术前沿，围绕仿生材料与驱动、仿生智能计算、生物信号智能识别、仿生感知、类生命机器人、运动规划与控制、多机器人系统及交叉领域，刊发高质量原创理论和应用研究成果，致力于打造国际高端学术交流平台，推动仿生智能领域相关学科的发展和融合。

An official Journal of the Shandong University
To promote advances and original contributions to robotics, biomimetics and artificial intelligence, Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics (BIROB) provides a platform and forum for the exchange and communication of the most innovative and exciting new discoveries and impactful applications in the fields of biomimetic intelligence and robotics.
Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics (BIROB) publishes original, high-quality, peer-reviewed theoretical and applied research achievements and review articles in the fields of robotics, biomimetics, artificial intelligence, and the innovative integration of them.
Topics covered by the journal include but are not limited to: autonomous systems, biomimetic actuators, biomimetic and bio-inspired design, biomimetic materials, biomimetics and artificial intelligence, exoskeletons, field robotics, human-robot interaction, humanoids, industrial robotics, kinematics and dynamics, machine learning, material sciences, medical robotics and technology, motion planning and control, micro and nano robotics, multirobot systems, sensors and bionic sensing, service robotics, and soft robotics.

To submit any Special Issue proposal to Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics journal, please follow the process at https://www.elsevier.com/physical-sciences-and-engineering/computer-science/journals/how-to-prepare-a-special-issue-proposal.
Please review all policies and guidelines before using the Special Issue proposal template to submit your Special Issue Proposal for Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics to the online proposal review system at https://www.editorialmanager.com/cssi-procs/default2.aspx.
Following initial publisher review, your special issue proposals will be assessed further by the Editors of Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics, and possibly external reviewers. After (possible) acceptance of any Special Issue proposal, full compliance to Elsevier Ethics policy, and Journal Special Issue policy is mandatory and will be enforced for all guest editors.
