Queens Quarterly《女王季刊》（季刊）. In 1893, the Queens Quarterly first appeared, having been founded by George Monro Grant, Sir Sandford Fleming, and John Watson, among others. Over the past century, the Quarterly has survived many a difficult time, manifesting what one of its former editors described as "the stubbornness of living things." Salmagundi-A QUARTERLY OF THE HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES《集萃: 人文科学与社会科学季刊》（季刊）. The magazine has featured critiques on literature, philosophy, and social sciences. A couple stories and essays are written by William H. Gass as well an early version of the story *The Tunnel* which was later lengthened and published into a full novel in 1995. This issue also features Cynthia Ozicks "Puttermesser and Xanthippe" which was later printed in *The Puttermesser Papers* in 1997.
