1. SUBMISSION

New submissions should be made via the Research Exchange submission portal https://wiley.atyponrex.com/journal/ETEP. Should your manuscript proceed to the revision stage, you will be directed to make your revisions via the same submission portal. You may check the status of your submission at anytime by logging on to submission.wiley.com and clicking the “My Submissions” button. For technical help with the submission system, please review our FAQs or contact submissionhelp@wiley.com.

Authors should kindly note that submission implies (i) that the content has not been published previously, in any language, in whole or in part, except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of a scientific meeting or symposium; and (ii) that the manuscript is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

IMPORTANT: Please check whether you already have an account in the system before trying to create a new one. If you have reviewed or authored for the journal in the past year it is likely that you will have had an account created.

LATEX USERS: For reviewing purposes you should upload a single .pdf that you have generated from your source files. You must use the File Designation "Main Document" from the dropdown box.

Revised Submission

NON-LATEX Users: Editable source files must be uploaded at this stage. Tables must be on separate pages after the reference list, and not be incorporated into the main text. Figures should be uploaded as separate figure files.

LATEX USERS: When submitting your revision you must still upload a single .pdf that you have generated from your now revised source files. For all your source files you must use the File Designation "Supplemental Material not for review". Previous versions of uploaded documents must be deleted. If your manuscript is accepted for publication we will use the files you upload to typeset your article within a totally digital workflow.

We look forward to your submission.

2. AIMS AND SCOPE

International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems publishes original research results on key advances in the generation, transmission, distribution, and conversion of electrical energy systems. Of particular interest are submissions concerning the modeling, analysis, optimization, and control of advanced electric power and energy systems, grid-connected power electronics converters, and renewable energy integration. Surveys or review of existing work on electrical energy systems may also be considered for publication.

Manuscripts on topics of insulation materials, lightning, transformers, motor structure, engines, solar cells, plasmas, and magnetics will generally NOT be considered for review.

3. MANUSCRIPT CATEGORIES AND REQUIREMENTS

The journal publishes original Research Articles, Review Articles and Brief Reports.

Research Articles are full-length articles presenting original, high-quality research results. The vast majority of articles submitted to and published by the ITEES are Research Articles. The Research Articles should be within 25 pages, no more than 8000 words.

Review Articles are expected to present the current state of understanding on a topic, important progress that have been achieved and those challenges that remain unresolved. Review articles can be focused on a broad subject area or on a very specific topic. ITEES highly welcome valuable Review Articles. The Review Articles should be within 35 pages, no more than 15000 words.

Brief Reports may be submitted to the Editor on any topic of short cutting edge research. To ensure a more timely review process, Editors have the discretion of proceeding with a decision with one external review for brief reports. The Brief Reports should be in 4-6 pages, no more than 2000 words.
