惊蛰春雷响，万物皆兴旺。这春风和煦，草木萌发，万物蓬勃盎然，充满朝气与希望的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量，增强教师教学基本功，强化语音培训效果，优化教师语音素养，教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现？英语教师的魅力如何体现？教英语首先应该教好什么？学英语首先应该学好什么？让我们回归本真，朔源而上！
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感，只有在朗读中，在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏，才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动，贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来，作为教师，更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用，因此，英语教师务必做到发音准确，语流流畅，语调自然，通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”，参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备，或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来；或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思，形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

刘晶,姚村镇席厂小学教师，2009年参加工作。工作敬业，任劳任怨，曾获得“曲阜市优质课一等奖、济宁市优课、曲阜市教育教学先进个人、济宁大家访先进个人”等荣誉称号。

学生时代，刘老师就梦想着成为一名教师。长大后梦想成真，刘老师成为了一名乡村英语教师。带着极大的责任感与幸福感，十几年的英语教学生涯中，刘老师致力于寻求有效的教学方法，激励学生的英语学习兴趣，从学生的每一次进步中都能感受到极大的乐趣。

When I was a student,I had a dream that I wanted to be a teacher.Because I thought teaching was a respectable profession. Education was something great and meaningful.
Thirteen years ago,my dream came true.I was so excited. I became a country English teacher. Since the first time I stepped on the platform, I have decided to be a good and successful English teacher. Standing on the platform, I have a strong sense of responsibility, which always fills me with strength and confidence. I have a strong sense of happiness. Looking at students’ pure and curious eyes, I can’t help smiling. In my eyes, students are delicate flowers, are newborn saplings, and students are even futures of our country. So I always tell myself that I must try my best to teach English well. I must help students with my knowledge, my patience and my enthusiasm.
Now I want to talk something about my students. They are so clever and lovely as other children, but they are different from others. Most of them don’t live with their parents. Their parents leave them to make money in other cities. It means that the students need more love and care. Now I’m not only an English teacher, but also a sister,a friend or even a mother. I motivate their learning interests by using some effective teaching methods. I encourage them to show their viewpoints, and I help them with their lives. I show my care and love to my students. Whenever they are in trouble, being sick, feeling blue or in a bad mood, I am the person that will try to take care of them, talk with them or try to help them balance themselves in good condition. I respect and trust them.
We learn English together.We solve difficulties together.We grow up together.I am so happy to see they can discuss passionately, they can communicate with others fluently, and they can make progress. I should say thanks to my students. Because they make me get much fantastic pleasure.
Now we have to have online classes at home because of coronavirus.Although we can’t meet every day,we study and chat through the screen.We are still very happy.
When I choose teaching as my profession, I know I am the happiest person. Because from then on, I can try my best to care for these lovely students. I can be a guide in students’ lives. I enjoy my job, and I’m willing to devote myself to English teaching in my rest life.
