惊蛰春雷响，万物皆兴旺。这春风和煦，草木萌发，万物蓬勃盎然，充满朝气与希望的季节，是审慎筹划的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量，增强教师教学基本功，强化语音培训效果，优化教师语音素养，教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现？英语教师的魅力如何体现？教英语首先应该教好什么？学英语首先应该学好什么？让我们回归本真，朔源而上！
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感，只有在朗读中，在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏，才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动，贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来，作为教师，更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用，因此，英语教师务必做到发音准确，语流流畅，语调自然，通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”，参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备，或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来；或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思，形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

张玮，中共党员，毕业于曲阜师范大学外国语学院。2018年参加工作，任教于曲阜市鲁城街道春秋小学。任教期间，对待工作，勤恳敬业；对待学生，关爱倍加；对待同事, 热情乐观。英语教学成绩优异，荣获曲阜市基础教育教学成果一等奖；曲阜市线上教育教学工作先进个人, 济宁基本功二等奖等荣誉。
导语
作为一名英语老师,她最幸福的时刻是学生享受自己的英语课堂。在课堂中，她会通过各种小游戏激励学生说英语。当学生在学习过程中出现错误时，她不会责怪，而是耐心的帮助学生纠正，慢慢的引导学生学习是她的教学方式。她热爱英语教学，在今后的教学中她也将投入更多的精力，让学生更加享受英语的学习过程。

Hello, everyone! My name’s Zhang Wei. I’m an English teacher from Chunqiu primary school. It’s my honor to be here to make a speech.
When I was a student, I liked my English teacher very much and I dreamed to become a teacher like her. To make my dream come true, I worked hard. And now, I’m an English teacher.
I love my students. My happiest moment is the moment when students tell me that they enjoy my classes and love me more. And now I can’t wait to share my classes.
In my classes, I try my best to encourage students to speak English. I always play little games such as “magic fingers, sharp eyes, lucky numbers” to help them practice the words and sentences . If they do the tasks well, I’ll praise them with sweet words. Whenever I say aloud “Great, wonderful”, my students look very happy. Sometimes, I give them some award cards and they can change for small gifts. In this way, my students really enjoy the class activities.
However, my students can’t always finish the tasks in a perfect way.Sometimes they make mistakes in pronunciation or grammar. In this case, I’ll look at them with smiles on my face, show them how to do it, and patiently guide them to correct the mistakes. There is no bitter criticism in my classes. Guiding them little by little is my way of teaching.
As the old saying goes, you cannot find two leaves exactly the same. My students differ in personalities. In fact, not all students can follow my words.
I have a student named Wenyao. When I taught her, I found she was too shy to speak English. So I called her to my office, and talked to her carefully. I encouraged her to recite the text and I took any opportunity to praise her. Gradually, she was getting more and more confident, and sometimes she even chatted with me in English. Her grades of English test were improved, too. We are not only teachers and students, but also friends.
Each student is like a seed, but different seeds bloom differently. So I need to devote more energy and greater passion to my teaching. More importantly, I’ll pay more attention to the spiritual growth of my students and guide them to be better persons. I hope all the students can enjoy the happy moments of English learning, and the same wish to all English teachers while they are teaching.
