冬天是积蓄酝酿的季节,是孕育希望的季节,是激发灵感的季节,是审慎筹划的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量,增强教师教学基本功,强化语音培训效果,优化教师语音素养,教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现?英语教师的魅力如何体现?教英语首先应该教好什么?学英语首先应该学好什么?让我们回归本真,朔源而上!
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感,只有在朗读中,在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏,才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动,贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来,作为教师,更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用,因此,英语教师务必做到发音准确,语流流畅,语调自然,通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”,参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备,或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来;或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思,形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

Hello,everyone,my name is LiuRui.It’s my great honor to be here to make speech with you .Here is my speech:I am an English teacher.
Confucius is the grand master of education and one of the most famous teachers around the world. Born in the same city as Confucius, I dreamed of being a teacher since childhood. Finally, my dream came true. And now I work as an English teacher in Chunqiu Primary School.
I feel very happy and full of enthusiasm when I stay together with my students. Facing the lovely faces and the bright eyes, I become so energetic that I would like to spare no effort on their education.
Actually, I want to be a humorous teacher, so my students can have great fun in my class. And I like to try a variety of teaching methods by which I can display the joy of learning English.
As we all know, all the students enjoy singing songs, so I think it’s a good way to combine singing songs with learning English. English songs not only improve their learning efficiency but also bring different effects and relaxing atmosphere.Besides English songs, I also tried different kinds of methods which can make our class more attractive.
Being an English teacher is fun, but also hard. Because there is no such language environment, it brings great difficulties to the actual English teaching. So, I try to create an English environment for the children. Such as: Watch English short films, and use the core sentence patterns we have learned to talk to the children during the after-school service. Even during the online class, we also use the time before or after class to do the above activities, the children are very interested in. In this way,students can improve their enthusiasm to learn English. At the same time, their second language is not so difficult to accept. For example, when learning the third person singular, some students do not understand it. When I play Peppa Pig, I ask them to pay attention to what the verb looks like when Peppa is talking, and what changes when the verb is described by the narrator. Such as, Peppa: "I love jumping in muddy puddles!" Narrator:"Peppa loves jumping in muddy puddles, George loves jumping in muddy puddles. They both love jumping up and down in muddy puddles." In this way, it is easier for children to understand.
I hope my students can always be happy and love English. I insist on believing: Learning English in life and learning English for life. I’ll try my best to be a teacher who is loved by students, and I’m right here waiting for more wonderful performance on their future life.
