冬天是积蓄酝酿的季节,是孕育希望的季节,是激发灵感的季节,是审慎筹划的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量,增强教师教学基本功,强化语音培训效果,优化教师语音素养,教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现?英语教师的魅力如何体现?教英语首先应该教好什么?学英语首先应该学好什么?让我们回归本真,朔源而上!
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感,只有在朗读中,在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏,才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动,贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来,作为教师,更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用,因此,英语教师务必做到发音准确,语流流畅,语调自然,通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”,参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备,或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来;或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思,形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

Hello,everyone! Today my topic is: I’m an English Teacher, by Du Fang.
Being a teacher has always been my dream, and 13 years ago, this dream came true. There existed laughs and cries, success and failure in the process of teaching. Many obstacles once appeared in front of me and I even doubted whether it was worth working so hard. But now, after such a long time’s working, I deeply realized: where there is a will, there is a way. I devote myself to the teaching, adopt various ways to make my lessons interesting. I never give up studying, making full use of time to become knowledgeable. Because I firmly believe: if you want to give the students a cup of water, you should have a continuous supply of water.All pains deserve gains. What the students give me back is happiness and love. Love is the key factor in teaching. Learn to love and we will be loved. I did not realize this until a trivial matter.
She is a beautiful student, whose name is Sunny. But her life was not as good as her name. She was born with poor hearing and she can’t speak as fluently as others. Because of her physical disability, she was very sensitive and self-abased. She didn’t want to communicate with others. Hearing this , maybe you have the same question what I ever had.“Why not go to the special school?”But her mother told me her greatest desire was she wanted her daughter to live as normal person. I was deeply moved about this .I decided to help her. From then on, when I had lessons in her class .I always stood in front of her and tried to speak as loudly as I can,and as slowly as I can. After class, I asked her to come to my office and helped her to review what we had learned. The more times we communicated, the more outgoing she became. Gradually, I found she was eager to talk with me. She told me that her hobby was dancing. So I encouraged her to join our school art festival. I remember clearly when she finished her performance, she ran to me quickly and gave me a hug. “I love you ,Jessie. Thank you.I can’t believe I could do that”. She said slowly but clearly.At that time I felt very happy and my tears fell down. I just did what teacher would do , but I received more than I gave.
I think teachers’ love can even change a student’s life. So ,I want to share with you.Try to love your students. You will find every moment is worth remembering. Every success will bring them more confidence; every encouragement will make the students happy all day long; every positive smile in teachers’ eyes would make them more staunch. In my heart, my students are the most powerful striving for me to work harder.
I love my students! I love teaching!I’m so proud of being an English teacher. It’s the best choice in my life. I shall do all I can to be a good teacher. No complaint, no regret! That’s all. Thank you.
