冬天是积蓄酝酿的季节，是孕育希望的季节，是激发灵感的季节，是审慎筹划的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量，增强教师教学基本功，强化语音培训效果，优化教师语音素养，教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现？英语教师的魅力如何体现？教英语首先应该教好什么？学英语首先应该学好什么？让我们回归本真，朔源而上！
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感，只有在朗读中，在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏，才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动，贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来，作为教师，更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用，因此，英语教师务必做到发音准确，语流流畅，语调自然，通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”，参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备，或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来；或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思，形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

丛婷婷，2007年参加工作，曲阜市第二实验小学教师，曲阜市小学英语兼职教研员。曾获得济宁市教学能手、济宁市教育教学先进个人和曲阜市优秀教师等荣誉称号。

丛老师自中学时酷爱英语，并在学习英语过程中幸遇良师。从那时起，她就下定决心，要做一名英语老师。梦想终得如愿以偿，与学生相伴15年，她已然成为孩子们的良师益友。教师工作虽苦犹乐，也已成为丛老师为之痴迷的幸福源泉。

Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you here. I'm Cong Tingting, an English teacher of No.2 primary school of Qufu. I have been an English teacher for fifteen years. I enjoy the teaching life all the time because I love English and my students.
I started to learn English when I was in the middle school. I thought it was interesting and delightful. My English teachers were always graceful and humorous. So I decided to be an English teacher one day , like him or her. Fortunately, my dream comes true.
It is happy to be an English teacher. I can help my students talk about colors, numbers, animals and hobbies in English and we can also learn about the foreign culture and life style together. Day after day, they become smart, confident and open -minded. In fact, I am not their teacher but their friend. They'd like to share their feelings with me, including their favorite stars or terrible maths test. Year after year, I have lots of friends of teenagers. It is exciting to receive the wishes on the special days from my students. In that way, I will keep young all the time.
It is tiring to be an English teacher, too. I have to take charge of the lessons for at least three classes. I keep giving lectures the whole morning and check the homework the whole afternoon. It is normal to have a sore throat and dazzle, but I am glad to see that they can make progress in their English learning. Maybe that's the teacher's responsibility.
No matter it's happy or tiring, I still want to be an English teacher, because of my lovely students, because of my English dream. That's all, thank you!
