冬天是积蓄酝酿的季节，是孕育希望的季节，是激发灵感的季节，是审慎筹划的季节。为全面提升我市小学英语教育教学质量，增强教师教学基本功，强化语音培训效果，优化教师语音素养，教师教育发展服务中心陈儒亭主任精心组织了首届全市小学英语教师“英语朗读者”评比展示活动。
英语的美如何呈现？英语教师的魅力如何体现？教英语首先应该教好什么？学英语首先应该学好什么？让我们回归本真，朔源而上！
语言之美主要体现在语音的准确性和节奏的韵律感，只有在朗读中，在自然地道的语流里才能更好地展示出清晰规范的语音和抑扬顿挫的节奏，才能更好地体现出语言表达的准确、生动，贴切、入心。英语朗读通过重音、连读、节奏、语调等技巧把语言材料中的思想感情表达出来，作为教师，更要不断提高朗读水平。朗读在常规教学中对提高学生学习英语的兴趣起着至关重要的作用，因此，英语教师务必做到发音准确，语流流畅，语调自然，通过自身的良好示范潜移默化地帮助学生打好英语学习的基础。
本次活动的主题是“I am an English Teacher”，参与者主要包括近两年优质课和教学基本功等专业比赛的一等奖获得者及学科中心组成员等教师。36位老师经过精心的准备，或将自己的从教经历娓娓道来；或分享自己的教育感悟引人深思，形式多样的风格把我们带入了一个多彩的英语世界。

陈中良，防山镇万柳小学教师。曲阜市基本功、优质课比赛一等奖获得者，多次执教曲阜市公开课，多次辅导学生参加朗诵、征文等赛事，荣获曲阜市一等奖，曲阜市拼词大赛一等奖，山东省优秀辅导老师等荣誉。

Hello, everybody. My name is Chen Zhongliang. I have an English name Dale which was given by my teacher when I was in the college. It means a valley. I like this name because I like its meaning.I love English.I studied English as my major in the college. Fortunately I met my girlfriend during my college time and we got married after we graduated.She is beautiful and dynamic I think.My wife and I are all teachers, English teachers. I must say I have learned so much from her. She helps me a lot during my teaching career. The most important thing is that she gave me two children.I love these two children.They are my angels. So I love English, I love this job.
Now there are so many pupils in my primary school. They are all my angels.I have forgotten how many pupils I have taught. But I will never forget those lovely pupils in Grade Six. It was 2012. I was the English teacher of Grade Six that time. The pupils in my class studied hard and almost everyone had a good mark. They loved me and I loved them. It was a Friday afternoon. School was over, but I was still working at school in my office. Suddenly, I heard a voice ,“ Mr Chen , here！”I looked outside of the window. It was Shi Weiye, the monitor of my class. He took a birthday cake and said to me ,“Happy birthday to you . We all come to have a birthday party with you, Mr Chen!”I was so excited that time. We ate, played, sang and jumped together and we all had a great time that afternoon. I thought I was the happiest English teacher in the world.
Teacher is just a kind of job, a halcyon job. Because of this job, I have met so many friends.They gave me so much help, especially Mr Chen， The co-director of our English group. He is very kind, vigorous, helpful and lovely.I can’t forget his humor. I can’t forget his energy. I can’t forget his power. He has so many things to do every day and he never seems to complete these things in my opinion. But he never seems to feel tired. He is always working. The most precious is that he always smiles whenever and wherever you see him. So whenever I feel that I am in my worst time, his smile will be always by my side. When I think of his smile that full of magic , I will be courageous again. I think I am a lucky dog. I become more and more perfect because of this nice man.
At last I want to say thank you to all of you, my best friends ,my dear teachers and my lovely pupils. I am so proud of being an English teacher . I will always love you !
