新学期伊始，突如其来的疫情，让油城大庆按下了“暂停键”。为做好学生疫情防控期间居家学习的教学辅助工作，应大庆广播电视台教育频道《师说》栏目的邀请及大庆市教师发展学院初中英语教研员王红军老师的推荐，四位优秀的初中英语教师录制了六至九年级第一模块的主要内容。四位教师以新课程标准为依据，以大观念为中心，从单元整体教学的角度对授课内容进行整合和设计，为全市初中学子讲授了模块的重点和难点，并推荐了丰富的线上学习资源，帮助学生为解封后的线下学习做好准备。
本期内容
大庆市第六十九中学的黄欣蕾老师讲解六年级英语第一模块的学习要点。本模块以The Great Wall为话题，涉及人与社会的主题范畴，以两个不同类型的语篇为依托，从语言知识、文化知识、语言技能和学习策略的角度帮助学生理解和学习。
Unit 1通过说话者对中国长城的介绍,引出本课的重要内容，即how long is the Great Wall 和 how old is the Great Wall。同时，引申用how long和how old句型询问其他事物的特征。
Unit 2 通过美国纽约帝王大厦的介绍，引出本课的重要短语how high，引导学生用how high 对事物的高度进行描述。
本模块两篇语篇的相似点都是每个国家著名的游览胜地，不同的是第一单元谈论的是事物的历史，运用how long is it和how old is it的句型。而第二单元谈论的是现代建筑，运用how high is it 的句型。通过对比，每个事物各有特色，学生要学会用辩证的眼光看世界。同时，学生要了解不同国家优秀的人类文明成果，认识中西方文化的差异。最后，通过本模块的学习，学生要树立国际视野，培养家国情怀，发展跨文化交流能力，坚定文化自信，树立健康向上的三观。
