About the Project
Applications are solicited for a Ph.D. student position in computational fluid dynamics / computational engineering, at the City College of New York (CCNY) of the City University of New York (CUNY). The successful candidate will develop new and enhanced models for ocean flows and flow-structure interaction problems. Preferably the candidates have
1. MS degree in oceanography, applied math, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, naval architecture engineering, or other related disciplines
2. Solid knowledge of mathematics and physics
Preference will be given to those with experience in computer programming, modelling algorithm development, and simulation of floating objects. Applicants with US citizenship will be considered for a special program.
