Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Macau
Applications are invited for appointment as full-time Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Macau, to commence on September 1, 2023 for up to two years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering, Automation, Applied Mathematics, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. The appointee is expected to work in one or more of the following areas: control theory, networked control systems, multi-agent systems, and complex networks. Research topics may include but are not limited to learning-based control, cooperative control, positive systems, robust control and filtering, UAV/UGV planning and control, soft robots.
Applicants should be highly self-motivated, have excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and can work independently. The appointee will work under the supervision of Assistant Professor Jinrong Liu, and participate in collaborative multidisciplinary research. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The current income tax rate is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions experience.
