阿司匹林（Aspirin）是世界上应用最广泛的药物之一。
2023 年 12 月 21 日，澳大利亚莫纳什大学 Sophia Zoungas 等人在 The Lancet Diabetes and Endocrinology 杂志发表研究论文 Daily low-dose aspirin and incident type 2 diabetes in community-dwelling healthy older adults：a post-hoc analysis of efficacy and safety in the ASPREE randomised placebo-controlled trial。
该研究共纳入 16209 名参与者，按 1:1 的比例随机分配至每日 100 毫克肠溶阿司匹林或安慰剂，结果显示经阿司匹林治疗可降低 2 型糖尿病风险，减缓空腹血糖浓度的增加，每天服用低剂量的阿司匹林，与糖尿病的风险降低 15% 相关，为改善患者血糖水平提供了新的视角。
