About the Project
In this project, we will develop a unique approach to generating highly reactive intermediates using electrochemistry and photochemistry. These will be used to prepare pharmaceutically relevant compounds that will be biotested. Finally, as a proof of concept, in collaboration with industries such as GSK, AZ or Merck, we will scale up the newly developed processes using flow chemistry.
Requirements:
- Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry. A focus on electrosynthesis, photosynthesis, flux chemistry or related areas is not necessary but would be an advantage.
- A Bachelor or Master degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for research and a strong desire to contribute to advancing the field.
