美国德州西南医学中心罗伟波博士实验室诚招2名博士后
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Weibo Luo at the UT Southwestern Medical Center (https://labs.utsouthwestern.edu/luo-weibo-lab) to study hypoxia-dependent epigenetic and metabolic reprogramming in cancer and brain injuries using various state-of-the-art techniques including next generation sequencing, metabolomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, oncology, and neuroscience. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a PhD or MD/PhD. Interested candidates must have 1) a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and oncology or neuroscience, 2) a strong publication record, and 3) good communication skills. Experience with bioinformatics is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
The Luo Lab studies hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-dependent and independent epigenetic and metabolic alterations in development, tumorigenesis, and neurodegeneration with a goal of identifying vulnerability to treat cancers or neurological diseases (Sci Adv 2022; NAR 2022; Nature Communications 2021;Cancer Res 2021; Cancer Res 2020; JCI 2018; NAR 2018; Cell 2011). We utilize in vitro and in vivo models including genetic mouse models, patient-derived xenograft models, and organoid models in our studies. Currently, our research is supported by grants from NCI, DoD, CPRIT, and ACS. Please visit our lab webpage or contact Dr. Luo for details about our research and research team.
To apply, please send a cover letter, CV, and three reference letters via email to Dr. Weibo Luo (Weibo.Luo@UTSouthwestern.edu).
