About the Programme
The PhD programme of KEDGE Business School aims to enable scholars to become future faculty members in leading international business schools and universities. During their study, PhD students undertake research projects leading to academic publications in internationally acclaimed journals and gain experience of teaching in higher education.
Overview
KEDGE Business School offers a diversity of PhD experiences. Some students join the School directly from their Master's studies, while other students come with work and managerial experience. The PhD programme has a strong international orientation. The majority of students are funded by Kedge, while others are also self-funded.

Admission & Funding for the KEDGE PhD Programme
Our PhD positions are fully funded for a period of up to 4 years.
Appointed PhD candidates are employees of KEDGE Business School and will receive a salary of approx. EUR 1900 per month gross, including health care benefits.
Following the 3-paper model, a PhD thesis at KEDGE consists of three related academic papers, which are ultimately submitted to high-quality academic journals.
The PhD programme offers extensive training in research methods; students are also encouraged to regularly attend research seminars.
Our PhD students furthermore are expected to teach on undergraduate and masters’ courses, which are normally undertaken in English. Training in pedagogy is also available. Successful candidates are appointed on a full-time basis for a duration of up to four years.

• International Business (newly created from March 2022)
• Finance reconsidered: SEEFAR (a new centre to be created in 2023)
The submission deadline for the September 2023 entry is 01 March 2023.

• Proposal of a potential thesis topic related to research of the Center of Excellence targeted (please click here to download our pdf general guidance document on how to produce a research proposal)
• Grade reports of your MA and BA degrees.
• A pdf copy of your MA thesis or other research-oriented output (e.g. BA thesis, seminar papers, etc.). This work must be single-authored.
• At least one reference letter
