About the Journal
Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English.
Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation accepts the following types of article: Original Articles, Book Review, Editorial.
Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that
•the manuscript is your own original work, and does not duplicate any other previously published work, including your own previously published work.
•the manuscript has been submitted only to Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation; it is not under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or in press or published elsewhere.
•the manuscript contains nothing that is abusive, defamatory, libellous, obscene, fraudulent, or illegal.
Please note that Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation uses CrossCheck™ software to screen manuscripts for unoriginal material. By submitting your manuscript to Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation you are agreeing to any necessary originality checks your manuscript may have to undergo during the peer-review and production processes.
Any author who fails to adhere to the above conditions will be charged with costs which Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation incurs for their manuscript at the discretion of Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation’s Editors and Taylor & Francis, and their manuscript will be rejected.

Please use British (-ise) spelling style consistently throughout your manuscript.
Please use single quotation marks, except where ‘a quotation is “within” a quotation’.
Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.
Alt Text
This journal is now including Alt Text (alternative text), a short piece of text that can be attached to your figure to convey to readers the nature or contents of the image. It is typically used by systems such as pronouncing screen readers to make the object accessible to people that cannot read or see the object, due to a visual impairment or print disability.
Alt text will also be displayed in place of an image, if said image file cannot be loaded. Alt Text can also provide better image context/descriptions to search engine crawlers, helping them to index an image properly.

Papers may be submitted in Word or LaTeX formats. Figures should be saved separately from the text. To assist you in preparing your paper, we provide formatting template(s).
