Instructions for Authors
Publication fee
(for manuscripts accepted for publication)
Guideline
In order to maintain a high quality of IJASS, all manuscripts accepted for publication will be charged a publication fee of $300 (300,000 KRW) up to 8 published pages and $100 (100,000 KRW) for each additional page.
Fee Exemption
The editorial board, however, is eager to waive the publication fee based on authors’ past contributions to IJASS. The contributions to IJASS include but not limited to participation in peer review of IJASS and other activities that may improve the citation status of IJASS. Once an application for fee exemption is submitted, the editorial board evaluates the author's contribution to decide whether the publication fee should be fully or partially waived.
Manuscript Submission
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
Permissions
Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

Please ensure you provide all relevant editable source files. Failing to submit these source files might cause unnecessary delays in the review and production process.
Author's Checklist
Title page
- Includes all authors with current affiliation and titles
- Provides full contact information for the corresponding author.
Abstract
- Should not exceed 150 words.
- Includes objective, method, result, and conclusion.
Body of manuscript
- Article length is limited to 6,000 words or approximately 20 pages.
- Must be carefully proofread.
References
- Should be cited in numerical order according to their order of appearances. - Must be properly formatted according to the style of IJASS.
Figures
- Must be properly labeled and formatted.
Ethics Regulation
- Authors should check the ethics regulations on the website before submitting the paper.
Peer Review
When a paper manuscript is received by IJASS, the deputy editor-in-Chief shall select the deputy associate editor, whose specialties is coinciding with the content of paper among the editorial board members after checking the plagiarism. IJASS shall request the deputy associate editor to select 2~3 reviewers and will request the paper review to those 2~3 reviewers. For selection of reviewers, if a reviewer works at the same workplace with the manuscript author, such reviewer should be ruled out in principle. The reviewers should submit determination and evaluation details, comprehensive assessment and opinions to suggest on the paper submitted after reviewing it. They shall review the paper according to the classification into 1. Minor revision, 2. Major revision, 3. Accept, 4. Reject. Depending on the result of paper review, the deputy associate editor should go through the following procedures.
