Submission of the manuscript
Authors are required to use the online submission system to submit the manucripts (MS Word is preferred). Manuscripts should be submitted to the regional editors as follows for arrangement of review.
Asian Pacific , African and organizing editor : Professor S.L. Chan
American editor : Professor W.F. Chen
European editor : Professor R. Zandonini
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are highly recommended to accompany with a list of four potential reviewers suggested by the author(s). This list should include the complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, and at least five keywords that identify the expertise of each reviewer. This scheme will improve the process of review.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS – INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ADVANCED
1. Introduction
International Journal of Advanced Steel Construction provides a platform for the publication and rapid dissemination of original and up-to-date research and technological developments in steel construction, design and analysis. Scope of research papers published in this journal includes but is not limited to theoretical and experimental research on elements, assemblages, systems, material, design philosophy and codification, standards, fabrication, projects of innovative nature and computer techniques.
The entire submission and review process for the International Journal of Advanced Steel Construction is handed electronically. The corresponding author must send the MS-Word file containing the paper to the International Journal of Advanced Steel Construction.
The paper must be written in English, centered in size A4 pages with 1.2 cm margins. Moreover, it cannot exceed 12 pages in length and 10 Mb in size (MS-Word file). The paper can be written using the template file available for download in the Journal Web Site for MS-Word (docx file extension). In this template files, text styles are available for each particular part of the document (paper title, abstract, title sections, normal text, legends, etc.), providing the convenient font type, alignment, space between lines, etc. The direct use of these text styles will make writing the paper easier.
2. Title, authors, affiliation, keyword and abstract
All Font style should be in Times New Roman and the page margin should be 1.2 cm all round with single line spacing. The first page includes the paper title, the author names and affiliations, up to 6 keywords, an abstract of the paper.
2.1. Title
The first line of the title starts 22 pt below the top edge of the text area. The title must be centered and written in Times New Roman font with size 14 using uppercase and “exactly 1.15 times” line spacing.
2.2. Authors
The author names must include the first name, middle initials and the last name. These must be centered and written in Times New Roman font with size 10.5. The author names must be located 11 pt below the last title line.
2.3. Affiliations
The author affiliations must be centered, written in italic Times New Roman font with size 6.5. The various author affiliations must be separated. Different lines corresponding to the same affiliation are using “exactly 11 pt” spacing. The first line of affiliation must be located 11 pt below the the author names.
E-mail addresses of the corresponding author should be written below the last author affiliations.
2.4. Keywords
Up to 6 keywords must be provided, separated by different line. These keywords are written in Times New Roman font with size 7 and using “exactly 8 pt” spacing. All the keywords must be left aligned.
2.5. Abstract
The abstract text is justified with “exactly 8 pt” line spacing without indentation and written in Times New Roman font with size 7 pt. The abstract of the paper must not exceed 13 lines.
2.6. DOI
The DOI number is temporarily given as “10.18057/IJASC.2019.14.2.2”, and it will be revised by the editorial office before publication. This content should be written in Times New Roman font with size 7 in the top of the first page.
3. Sections
3.1. Main sections
The main section titles must be left aligned and written with bold Times New Roman font with size 8. A 10 pt space before and a 10 pt space after the section title must be specified. Only the first letter of the subsection title is uppercase, as all the others are lowercase.
3.2. Subsections
The subsection titles must be written left aligned, with an italic Times New Roman font with size 8. Only the first letter of the subsection title is uppercase, as all the others are lowercase. Spaces of 10 pt before and 10 pt after the subsection title must be specified - when a subsection title follows immediately a section title (as in subsection 3.1 of this template), the vertical distance between the two titles should be of 10 pt.
