Journal of Agromedicine is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English.

The Journal of Agromedicine: Practice, Policy, and Research focuses on translational research that aids the rural health care provider, as well as public health practitioners and those involved in health and safety issues. Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors from whom we receive a valid email address will be given an opportunity to purchase reprints of individual articles, or copies of the complete print issue.
Open Access

Preparing Your Paper
Original Research
Should be written with the following elements in the following order: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
Should be between 3000 and 4000 words.
Should contain a structured abstract of 250 words. Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Should contain between 3 and 5 keywords. Read making your article more discoverable, including information on choosing a title and search engine optimization.
Major Reviews
Should be written with the following elements in the following order: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
Should be between 3500 and 5000 words.
Should contain a structured abstract of 250 words. Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion
Should contain between 3 and 5 keywords. Read making your article more discoverable, including information on choosing a title and search engine optimization.
Editorial
Should be written with the following elements in the following order:
Should be no more than 1000 words.
Practice/Case History
Should be written with the following elements in the following order:
Should be between 2000 and 3000 words.
Policy
Should be written with the following elements in the following order:
Should be between 2000 and 3000 words.
Brief reports (book reviews, abstracts, meeting summaries)

Style Guidelines
Please refer to these quick style guidelines when preparing your paper, rather than any published articles or a sample copy.
Please use American spelling style consistently throughout your manuscript.
Please use double quotation marks, except where “a quotation is ‘within’ a quotation”. Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.
References and general style of manuscripts for this Journal should conform to the American Medical Association (6th edition). The manuscript text file should be created with Microsoft Word (PDF is not accepted.) All parts of the manuscript must be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. To preserve blinding, please be sure there are no identifiers contained within the text.
