Guidelines for Authors
Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware (VRIH) is a professional academic journal that is approved by the State Administration of Radio and Television, directed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted by China Science Publishing & Media Ltd. (the Science Press), and the Beihang University, published by Beijing Zhongke Journal Publishing Co., Ltd., Cooperation of Goertek Inc.; Professor Wang Yongtian of the Beijing Institute of Technology serves as the chief editor.
VRIH personnel can promote and discuss topics related to virtual reality and intelligent hardware and their scientific research results. In addition, it aims to promote research results through a two-way transformation of laboratories and practical applications, with particular emphasis on the reporting of research results related to virtual reality/augmented reality technology, low-power lightweight hardware and software technology, high-performance intelligent sensing technology, high-precision motion and attitude control technology, low-power wide-area intelligent IOT technology, client-cloud integration collaboration technology, etc. VRIH has taken the initiative to establish a high-quality journal; it shows global researchers the characteristics and level of setting up of a high-level journal, helps to achieve the quick publication and exchange of academic achievements in the virtual reality and intelligent hardware research field on related international platforms.

Types of article
Articles published in VRIH includes:
Reviews: A prospective thesis written by authors for a specific topic by compiling and organizing large amounts of data, material, and the leading viewpoints from original research papers. The length of these papers is around 20 pages,
Research papers: Scientific analysis and comprehensive research and elaboration of phenomena (or problems) in the research domain on the premise that researchers have a sufficient grasp of the academic, innovative, and scientific aspects of the field and on the foundation of scientific experiments (or trials) will be accepted for submission. In-depth research, summary and innovative results, and conclusions regarding these phenomena need to be included in such papers, which should not exceed 15 pages in length.
Rapid communications: Rapid communications papers report on the final or interim results of the cutting-edge, latest, unique, or significant scientific research topics in the field of virtual reality and smart devices. Papers should not exceed four pages, and priority will be given for publications.
Case reports: Reports of representative experiments, inventions, or results.
News: Publication of news and communications of reports on research findings, policies, people, etc., to become a window for the reader to understand industry information. Academic journals, academic conferences, press conferences, and results evaluation can be used as sources for science and technology news.
Commentary: Experts are invited to write a commentary according to the topic. These papers include commentaries, editorials, short reviews, brief comments, guest commentaries, letters, etc.
VRIH articles are published directly on line, together with complete publishing information concerning page, issue, volume and DOI.
Submission
Submission to this journal proceeds totally online. Use the following guidelines to prepare your article. Via the homepage of this journal (http://www.keaipublishing.com/en/journals/virtual-reality-and-intelligent-hardware/) you will be guided stepwise through the creation and uploading of the various files. The system automatically converts source files to a single Adobe Acrobat PDF version of the article, which is used in the peer-review process. Please note that even though manuscript source files are converted to PDF at submission for the review process, these source files are needed for further processing after acceptance. All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place by e-mail and via the author's homepage, removing the need for a hard-copy paper trail. Author(s)
Author(s): Authorship should be limited to those who have contributed substantially to the work. The order of the authors listed should be agreed by all the coauthors, and all the authors have responsibilities for the published content. Family names are written in upper case. An e-mail address of the corresponding author is required.
Author affiliations: The affiliations should be the institutions where the work was done. Complete addresses with post codes are required.
Author contributions
For transparency, we encourage authors to submit an author statement file outlining their individual contributions to the paper using the relevant CRediT roles: Conceptualization; Data curation; Formal analysis; Funding acquisition; Investigation; Methodology; Project administration; Resources; Software; Supervision; Validation; Visualization; Roles/Writing - original draft; Writing - review & editing. Authorship
Authors should guarantee that their submitted manuscript has not been published before and has not been submitted elsewhere for print or electronic publication consideration. Submission of a manuscript is taken to imply that all the named authors are aware that they are listed as coauthors, and they have agreed on the submitted version of the article. No change in the order of listed authors can be made without an agreement signed by all the authors.
Copyright
A completed form assigning copyright to Beijjing zhongke Journal Publishing Co.Ltd. must be returned to the VRIH when the article is accepted for publication. The copyright covers the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the article (in various languages), including offprints and reprints, translations, photographic reproductions, microform, electronic form (offline, online) or other reproductions of similar nature. The Copyright Transfer Statement is available at Beijjing Zhongke Journal Publishing Co.Ltd.
Publication charge
All authors are exempt from the publication fee and free provide a sample after publication.

Reviewing policy
All submissions will be reviewed by referees selected by the editorial board. This journal operates a single blind review process. The decision of acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on the referees reports. The entire review process may take 90 days, and the editorial office will inform the author of the decision as soon as the process is completed. If the editorial board fails to make a decision within 90 days, it is up to the authors to decide whether they would withdraw their article and submit it elsewhere.
Manuscript formats:
Contributions are required of a concise, focused account of the findings and reliable essential data. They should be well organized and clearly presented, avoiding exhaustive tables and figures. Authors are advised to use internationally agreed nomenclature, express all measurements in SI units, and quote all the relevant references.
Text: A article should begin with a brief introduction to the problem and the significance of the research. Nomenclature, symbols, and abbreviations should be defined at their initial appearance. All the figures and tables should be numbered in numerical order.
Introduction: Being the most important part of an article, the introduction should provide relevant information on research background and recent progress, with references cited in numerical order, present the problem to be solved in the article, and describe briefly the method adopted to solve the problem. The aim of the research should also be mentioned. Subtitle is forbidden in this part and introduction of the article structure is considered unnecessary.
