Article Publishing Charge
JEV is an Open Access international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research in the field of extracellular vesicles. Open Access means you can publish your research so it is free to access online as soon as it is published, meaning anyone can read (and cite) your work. Many funders mandate publishing your research open access; you can check open access funder policies and mandates here.
The standard Article Publication Charge (APC) for research articles and review articles is $3,850/£3,000/EUR 3,450. The APC for members of ISEV is $3,080/£2,450/EUR 2,800 if membership is declared on submission. Peer Review and Ethics
The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality and originality of the research and its significance to JEV readership and to the field of extracellular vesicles. Papers will only be sent to review if the Editors determine that the paper meets the appropriate quality and relevance requirements.
Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are single-blind peer reviewed. Wiley's policy on the confidentiality of the review process is available here.
Preprint Policy
JEV will consider for review articles previously available as preprints. Authors may also post the submitted version of a manuscript to a preprint server at any time. Authors are requested to update any pre-publication versions with a link to the final published article.
Publication Ethics
JEV is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Wiley’s Publication Ethics Guidelines can be found here. Read Wiley’s Top 10 Publishing Ethics Tips for Authors here.
Preparing Your Paper
