Journal of Transcultural Communication（《国际跨文化传播学刊》）作为中国大陆新闻传播学界第一本跨文化传播英文学术期刊，诞生于2021年9月，是北京外国语大学发布的多语种学术期刊矩阵的重要成员。
JTC由北京外国语大学国际新闻与传播学院承办、外研社协办、德国德古意特出版社出版，于日益全球化与网络化的人类社会中，为推动跨文化传播理论和实践的原创研究提供跨学科平台。
JTC欢迎反思跨文化传播的理论与方法、融合多元文化间传播的不同视角、超越全球文化的霸权视野的原创论文。
期刊名称采用“transcultural”一词，源于它与“cross-cultural”和“intercultural”思想史视角下的区别：“cross-cultural”和“intercultural”二词都在强化差异与比较的同时附和了后殖民主义的文化政治，而“transcultural”则期冀在新概念，新范畴，新表述视野下推进跨文化传播研究。JTC希望超越文化边界假设，展现跨文化传播的超越性和包容性，同时推动跨文化传播研究的范式转型，将在汇集全球学者杰出成果的同时，推动描绘跨文化传播研究的新图景。北外国际新闻与传播学院院长宋毅教授为JTC主编，新西兰梅西大学Stephen Michael Croucher教授为联合主编，中国传媒大学姬德强教授为特约副主编。
